Prince Charles who became a Patron early in 2010 will certainly offer a huge amount of expertise to HIF as Dame Fanny , President of HIF stated: “I met Prince Charles through his support of the restoration of Harrogate’s Royal Hall. “I knew that he loved music and wrote to ask whether he felt he could extend his patronage to our festival – and he said yes. “As part of my role as president I wanted to do all I could to help find a suitable patron and Prince Charles’s agreement is a great boost.
