New Music New Venues
July 17 & 18, From 3pm
Crescent Gardens, Harrogate
A weekend of laid back world and contemporary music in a PapaKåta style tent in Crescent Gardens.
As John Lennon once said to a crowd – those in the cheap seats clap, the rest of you, “just rattle your jewellery”. As well as the Fringe breaking down barriers, the mainstream Festival took music away from the civilised seats of the theatre into a very big tent in a field (in Crescent Gardens). We clapped, rattled and rolled the weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July away, with laid back acoustic world music in the air, and artists playing into the evening for that authentic festival experience.
Acts included:
Rafiki Jazz
