We are delighted to confirm that Harrogate International Festivals will be coordinating the Festival Fringe as part of our portfolio of activity in 2012.
The 2012 Harrogate (International) Festival Fringe will be held in July, alongside the Summer Festival which will run across long weekends.
Submissions to the 2012 Harrogate (International) Festival Fringe are now open. If you have an event that you feel would work as part of the Fringe, please click here to fill out a Submission survey.
Harrogate International Festivals has put aside funding to produce event guides and to cover the cost of core marketing for the Harrogate (International) Festival Fringe, but in order to maintain the sustainability & continuation of the Festival Fringe there will be a small charge of £40 which will allow the following:
Inclusion in the A6 Fringe Event Guide – individual artwork should be provided – x5,000
Listing in the Full Summer Guide under the banner of the Fringe Festival – x40,000
Event Guides to be distributed across Harrogate, District and North of England as well as to our core audience.
Fringe Posters to be designed, printed and displayed around town and in the Poster Sites.
Listing on the Harrogate International Festivals webpage, and, where appropriate, links to events webpage / online booking.
Regular E-newsletters in the run up to, and during the period of the Festival.
This will also go towards marketing of your event across Yorkshire *please note you may wish to market your event further individually.
Please note each individual event is classed as a promoter/partner with responsibility for venue hire, act, programme, insurance, managing the risk, some elements of individual event marketing etc. That said, the Festivals are more than happy to support smaller organisations with advice, info etc if there’s something that you are having problems with eg. events on HBC land or similar.
If you have any further questions, please get in touch with the Festival office on 01423 562303 or info@harrogate-festival.org.uk
