The Festival has a history of recognising emerging talent through our Young Musician Series. The Festival’s opening concert will be a real celebration of the Series, as all three world-renowned performers made their first Festival appearances as Young Musicians. Now Emma Johnson, the classical chart topping clarinettist, and Julian Lloyd Webber, one of the most highly regarded musicians of his generation, join Britain’s favourite soprano, Lesley Garrett, for a very special event – marking the 30th anniversary of her debut
appearance at the Festival.
