Percussion and brass collide in an evening that reflects the Royal Hall’s glorious brass tradition. With over 150 years of musical history, no other band can boast such a record of innovation and success than Yorkshire’s very own Black Dyke Band. Guest artist Dame Evelyn Glennie, a former Festival Young Musician, is now one of the UK’s most illustrious musical celebrities and remains the first and only full-time professional classical percussion soloist.
