Sasha Grynyuk an artists whose qualities were described by Charles Rosen as “remarkable, unfailing musicality always moving with the most natural, electrifying, and satisfying interpretations” - was born in Kiev and received his early musical training in the National Music Academy of Ukraine.

He made his London debut at the Purcell Room as a result of winning the Jaques Samuel Piano Competition he plays concerts, recitals and chamber music throughout Europe, Asia and USA appearing at such venues as Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore, Barbican, Carnegie and Bridgewater Halls.

Sasha is a winner of numerous prizes and awards. His most recent successes include the Yamaha Europian Foundation Award and Guildhall School’s most prestiguous prize – the Gold Medal - previously won by such artists as Jaquelin Du Pre and Bryn Terfel.

Much Ado About Nothing

Shakespeare’s celebration of love, intrigue and smoldering desires gets the Oddsocks treatment in their usual inimitably entertaining, family friendly way. Setting the scene on the sloping lawns of RHS Garden Harlow Carr, the company’s unique wagon-stage will transform into the Sicilian city of Messina where family honour is all important and young lovers Hero and Claudio, Beatrice and Benedick attempt to stop their elders arranging their futures.

An annual treat enjoyed by family audiences – don’t forget your picnic!

David Rees-Williams Trio

Jazz Cabaret

Described as ‘the British Jacques Loussier’, David Rees-Williams was catapulted to national attention in 2001 with his stunning arrangement of Purcell’s When I am laid in earth from Dido and Aeneas. This concert with trio members Neil Francis (bass guitar) and Phil Laslett (drums) features works from the Trio’s latest album Thinking Allowed which has been widely acclaimed as one of the outstanding albums of its genre exploring new and exciting arrangements of works by Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Debussy and Ravel.
