Sasha Grynyuk – an artists whose qualities were described by Charles Rosen as “remarkable, unfailing musicality always moving with the most natural, electrifying, and satisfying interpretations” - was born in Kiev and received his early musical training in the National Music Academy of Ukraine.
He made his London debut at the Purcell Room as a result of winning the Jaques Samuel Piano Competition he plays concerts, recitals and chamber music throughout Europe, Asia and USA appearing at such venues as Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore, Barbican, Carnegie and Bridgewater Halls.
Sasha is a winner of numerous prizes and awards. His most recent successes include the Yamaha Europian Foundation Award and Guildhall School’s most prestiguous prize – the Gold Medal - previously won by such artists as Jaquelin Du Pre and Bryn Terfel.
