The superstar violinist Midori has a quality that sets her apart and we are delighted to present her Harrogate Festival debut, 25 years since she stunned the musical world with her first performance in New York at the age of 11. Midori is joined for a sublime chamber music concert by two of the brightest young rising stars in the international classical music firmament, American Jonathan Biss and German born Johannes Moser in a Trio programme that displays a passion for the Romantic chamber repertoire.

Jason Rebello’s sparkling touch and funky fusion exploits made him one of the leading names of the British jazz revival of the late ‘80s. He has since made a name for himself as bandleader, as a soloist in both jazz and classical settings, and as the pianist of choice for a string of musical luminaries including Branford Marsalis, Sting, Jeff Beck, Wayne Shorter, Mica Paris and Carleen Anderson. He is joined for this intimate evening of jazz cabaret by Stephen Keogh and Dave Whitford.
