Friends of the Festival
Harrogate International Festivals has grown into one of the regions leading cultural providers, attracting the best international, national and local artists to perform every year. The Festival team works year round to bring the finest performing arts, literature and education participation to Harrogate and Yorkshire. We could not do this without the invaluable contribution made by the Festival Friends. Who have been integral to our growth and development over the years through their loyalty and financial support. Harrogate International Festivals greatly appreciates their contribution.

You can join as:
Premier Friends (suggested £500 + donation per annum)
Premier Friends is an exclusive scheme aimed at individuals who want to have a lasting association with the Festival. Your valued support will give us the ability to deliver a full range of activity year round, encompassing the very finest music, literature, education and performing arts provision which already includes world-class Festivals and a highly successful Community and Education programme for Harrogate and Yorkshire.
Your support of the Premier Friends enables HIF to continue developing our reputation as one of the regions leading arts providers – ensuring we are able to continue to deliver and develop our work.
HIF offer our Premier Friends a comprehensive series of benefits:
- Exclusive Premier Friends Receptions at HIF events
- 2 top price tickets to each Festival within the portfolio
- 10% discount on any tickets purchased
- Fast-track entry to events- no need to queue
- Exclusive Premier Friends events throughout the year
- Credit in Festival Brochures (40,000 distribution) and Festival Programmes (2,000 distribution)
- Verbal acknowledgement of Premier Friends during events
- Festival briefing with the Chief Executive
- Dedicated assistance in booking tickets through the Festival Office
Other levels of Friendship include:
Platinum Friend (£100 per year)
Gold Friend (£50 per year)
Silver Friend (£25 per year)
- Friends are entitled to priority booking for Festival events, with Platinum Friends getting priority, followed by Gold Friends and then Silver Friends before tickets go on sale to the public.
- Platinum and Gold Friends (subject to consent) are credited in our Festival Programme Book and receive a complimentary copy.
- All Friends receive advance details of Festival events, along with invitations to special exclusive Friends events throughout the year.
Giving to the Festival the tax efficient way
If you pay income tax, you can significantly increase the value of your donation to the Festival by agreeing to Gift Aid your contribution- an extra 28p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost for you.
Spreading your payments
We can offer Platinum, Premier and Gold Friends the facility of spreading your payments across the year by standing order- please contact the Festival Office for details.

Members receive many benefits including; advance notification and booking of events, exclusive Friends events and regular updates on Festival activities.
