Harrogate International Festivals has grown into one of the region’s leading cultural providers, attracting the best international, national and local artists to perform every year. The Festival team works year round to bring the finest performing arts, literature and education participation to Harrogate and Yorkshire. We could not do this without the invaluable contribution made by the Festival Friends. They have been integral to our growth and development over the years through their loyalty and financial support.

Premier Friend

Launched in July 2009, The Premier Friends Foundation is an exclusive opportunity for a select group of supporters to make a difference to the work of the Harrogate International Festivals. Joining the Premier Friends will create a longterm, year round association with the Festival encompassing the highest quality performing arts, literary and education participation across the district, alongside a comprehensive series of benefits designed to keep you entertained all year round!

Friends are entitled to priority booking for Festival events, with Premier Friends receiving priority, followed by Platinum Friends,  Gold Friends and then Silver Friends before tickets go on sale to the public.

Premier, Platinum and Gold Friends are credited in our Festival Programme Book and receive a complimentary copy.

All Friends receive advance details of Festival events, along with invitations to special Friends events throughout the year.

Giving to the Festival the Tax Efficient Way

If you pay income tax, you can significantly increase the value of your donation to the Festival by agreeing to Gift Aid your contribution- an extra 28p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.

Spreading your payments

We can offer Platinum and Gold Friends the facility of spreading your payments across the year by standing order- please contact the Festival Office for details.
